The Business Beauty Network Virtual Summit is looking to help beauty brands cash in on the wave. The three-day event, scheduled on Oct. 25-27, will feature speakers, workshops, and panels to help aspiring entrepreneurs get in the door to beauty brand ownership and established ones expand with financial resources and larger client bases.

“This virtual summit will walk them through the process of how to get vendors, private labeling, and the product manufacturing process,” said summit founder Brandi Taylor.

Brandi has more than 14 years in the industry as a beauty professional, including creating platforms to answer the questions she wished she knew before getting started in the industry.

Through the Business Beauty Network, she specializes in providing online and in-person education, coaching, and community for cosmetologists, estheticians, makeup artists, and other beauty industry experts.

The event will feature several speakers over the three-day session, including Tina Williams, of QT Business Solutions, who will be sharing how to obtain funding for salons and spas; business coach Twanna Toliver who will be sharing insight on product development; and celeb hairstylist Monae Everett, who will be providing tips on how to grow and maintain your client base.

Brandi also wants attendees to walk away with information on how to properly structure their businesses in order to be able to profitably scale. “My goal is to arm serious beauty professionals with the tools they need to refine and develop success in their businesses,” she said.

“Whatever dream you have, whatever thing you have been thinking about doing in your beauty business, the time is now. I just encourage you to step out on faith and do whatever that it is that God has placed on your heart to do,” added Brandi in a recent interview. “This [summit] is for everybody in the beauty industry — if it’s hair and makeup, lashes, esthetics. You just need to be in the house and learn this information and connect with these awesome beauty professionals.”
